29 travelers among 434 new covid-19 cases in J&K, Total 29326

Srinagar Tally Mounts Past 7000, 590 More Recover

Srinagar, Aug 18 : Twenty-nine travelers were among 434 new covid-19 cases in Jammu and Kashmir, taking the total tally past 29000 in J&K.

With 88 cases from Jammu Division and 346 from Kashmir Valley, the overall count has mounted to 29326.

Giving district-wise details, official sources told GNS that Srinagar reported 66 cases, Baramulla 37, Pulwama 27, Budgam 6, Anantnag 42, Kulgam 16, Shopian 3, Kupwara 66, Bandipora 59, Ganderbal 24,
Jammu 28, Rajouri 2, Kathua 3, Udhampur 13, Ramban 5, Samba 12, Doda 4, Poonch 3, Reasi 14, and
Kishtwar 4.

In Kashmir, Srinagar tops the list with 7026 cases followed by Baramulla with 2475, Pulwama 2122, Budgam 1834,Kulgam 1728, Shopian 1524, Anantnag 1857, Kupwara 1637, Bandipora 1535 and Ganderbal 987.

In Jammu division, Jammu district has 2033 cases, Rajouri 790, Ramban 629, Kathua 677, Udhampur 662, Samba 589, Doda 347, Poonch 332, Reasi 302 and Kishtwar 185.

Moreover, 590 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and discharged from various hospitals, 110 from Jammu Division and 480 from the Valley.
