Republic Day full dress rehearsal held at M A stadium, other parts of Jammu div

JAMMU, JANUARY 24: The full dress rehearsal for Republic Day 2021 celebration was held today here at M A stadium Jammu amid tight security arrangements.

Similar, events were also held in other parts of the division, including district headquarters.

The contingents of Army, CRPF, JKP, NCC cadets and school students participated in March past.

On the occasion, Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Sanjeev Verma took salute at the march past and inspected the parade.

School children and artists of J&K Academy of Art Culture and Languages presented colorful cultural programme. The stunning stunts by Dare Devils of Jammu and Kashmir Police were another attraction.

The cultural items depicted composite social fabric, patriotic traditions, folk dance and music of Jammu Kashmir.

The function was also attended by Deputy Commissioner, Jammu, Director School Education, besides senior Police Officers, school children and officials/officers of various departments.

At Kathua: The full dress rehearsal for Republic Day was held at Sports Stadium Kathua.

Additional Deputy Commissioner, Atul Gupta hoisted the National Flag and took salute at the march past comprising contingents of CRPF, District Police, Police Training School, NCC Girls and Boys. The School children presented a scintillating cultural programme featuring folk dance and music.

SSP, Shailendra Mishra, ASP, Ramnish Gupta, CEO, District Officers and Principals of Government and Private schools and a large number of students attended the full dress rehearsal.

At Samba: Full dress rehearsal was held in the Sports Stadium Arazi, Samba for the Republic Day celebrations, 2021.

Additional Deputy Commissioner, Suram Chand Sharma hoisted the tri-colour and took salute at the March Past, in presence of SSP, Rajesh Sharma.

The March past contingent was led by DySp (Operations) Govind Rattan of JKP, comprising contingents of ITBP, Army, NCC Cadets, School children.

The event was attended by Assistant Commissioner (revenue) Jitender Mishra; Chief Planning Officer Sukhleen Kour, District Information officer, Ajay Sharma, District social Welfare officer, Deep Kumar, besides other District officers, students, police personnel and civil society members.

A cultural programme, featuring folk dance, patriotic and folk songs in Hindi, Punjabi and Dogri was presented by the students of Government Degree College, Samba, JNV school Samba, Government Girls Higher secondary school Samba and Government High School samba and other government and private institutions. .

At Udhampur: Marking the final preparedness for Republic Day-2021 Celebration, full dress rehearsal was conducted at Government PG College Boys Udhampur.

Additional Deputy Commissioner, Mohammad Syed Khan hoisted the National flag at 9:55 AM and took salute at an impressive march past comprising 12 contingents drawn from CRPF, SKPA, Home Guards, District Police, NCC besides Police Band.

As many as 8 cultural troupes of different educational institutions also participated in the Full dress rehearsal and presented a scintillating programme featuring folk dance and music, patriotic songs.

Among others present were Additional SP, Rajinder Katoch; Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Viqar Giri; District Information Officer, Er Sajad Bashir Somberia; Chief Education Officer, P D Sharma; District Youth Services & Sports Officer, Swarn Singh and other district heads of various departments.

At Kishtwar: Full dress rehearsal, in connection with the celebration of Republic Day 2021, was held here in the premises of DC Office Complex. Additional District Development Commissioner, Mohammad Hanief Malik unfurled the tri-colour and took salute at the march past comprising the contingents of CRPF, Police, CISF, JKAP, NCC, Forest Protection Force and Homeguards.

Additional SP, Mushim Ahmed Choudhry, Assistant Commissioner (R) Dr. Amir Hussain, Assistant Labour Commissioner, Anoop Kumar, District Youth Services and Sports Officer, Kharati Lal besides other district officers and officials were present on the occasion.

At Doda: With only 2 days to go for the Republic day- 2021, a full-dress rehearsal was held here at Sports Stadium Doda, witnessing mock drills, parade and flag hoisting.

Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC), Surat Singh hoisted the National Flag and took salute at the march past comprising contingents of Contingents of JKP, IRP 5th BN, CRPF, FPF, SSB, and School Children.

Additional Deputy Commissioner, Kishori Lal Sharma, Additional SP, Master Popsy, District Information Officer, Mohammad Ashraf Wani, Dy SP DAR/Parade Commander Shoket Ahmed; District Youth Service and Sports Officer, Jaffar Haider Sheikh; besides other officers/officials were also present.

Meanwhile, the full dress rehearsal for was also held at Bhaderwah. Tehsildar, Zeeshan Tahir unfurled the tricolour and took salute at the march past presented by the contingents of CRPF,JKAP, IRP 5th BN, NCC Senior & Junior Division and Platoons from Govt and Private school. Cultural programmes were also presented on the occasion.

At Reasi: Full dress rehearsal for the 72nd Republic Day celebration was held here at Zorawar Singh Sports Stadium. Additional Deputy Commissioner, Rajinder Kumar Sharma hoisted the national flag and took salute at the march past comprising contingents of J&K Police, CRPF, IRP, JKHome Guard, NCC Boys Higher Secondary School, Girls Higher Secondary School and NCC Degree College Reasi. The programme started with National anthem presented by students of Girls Higher Secondary School Reasi.

A cultural programme was also presented by the students of Girls HSS Reasi and a solo patriotic song was presented by another student of the school.

District Youth Sports Officer, Subash Chander Sharma; District Social Welfare Officer, Gulshan Kumar Sharma; Tehsildar Reasi, Munshi Ram; Chief Accounts Officer, Liaqat Khan; DSEO, Darshan Sharma; Chief Education Officer, Mushtaq Ahmed; District Legal Service Officer, Pushkar Sharma; Div. Pollution Control Officer, HR Galoch; XEn JKPCC; Principal Technical College and other district officers were also present at the event.

At Rajouri: The full dress rehearsal for the Republic Day was held successfully in Rajouri on Sunday.

Additional Deputy Commissioner, Sher Singh took salute at an impressive march past comprising contingents drawn from Police, CRPF, Forest Protection Force, NCC and students of different educational institutions besides Police Band.

All the COVID19 protocols were followed while performing different activities related to the function to avoid the risk of infection.

The students also presented a scintillating cultural programme on theme of patriotism, cultural traditions and social evils. A physical display was highly liked by the audience present on the occasion.

District Magistrate Rajouri, Rajesh K Shavan and Senior Superintendent of Police Chandan Kohli who were also present on the occasion monitored all the activities carried out on the day.

At Ramban: Full-dress rehearsal for 72nd Republic Day celebration was held at District Police Line Chandrog, Ramban, where Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC), Harbans Lal hoisted the National Flag and took the salute at the march past comprising, contingents of Police, CRPF, IRP including Military band.

A cultural programme was also presented on the occasion.

Among others present were ACR, Dhirendra Sharma, CEO, Dy. SP, XENs, heads of various institutions and other officers.

At Poonch: The full dress rehearsal in connection with the Republic Day celebration was held at sports Stadium Poonch.

Additional District Deputy Commissioner, Mohammad Rashid Chowdhary took salute at an impressive march past of contingents drawn from Police, CRPF, JKP, JKAP,JKPQRT Commando, Home Guard, NCC cadets of Degree college Poonch, besides Police Band.

All the COVID19 protocols were followed while performing different activities related to the function to avoid the risk of infection.

The Parade was led by DySp, Sachin Gupta, with 2nd Commander, Sub Inspector, Abdul Majeed Shaheen.
